Presentation of the 41st OICE/CEr Survey on the Engineering and Architecture Sector

The sector remains in good health, but signs of a slowdown and new challenges are emerging.
2024 Turnover: €4.4 billion (+11.3% compared to 2023)
2025 Estimate: €4.8 billion (+9.1%) with 26% of production abroad
Employees: 34,700 in 2024 (+12.6%), forecast to exceed 37,000 in 2025 (+6.9%)
NRRP: for 74% of companies, it accounts for at least 25% of turnover
Under 35s: 34.5% in 2024 | Women: 35.3% in 2024
Staff shortages: reported by 77% of companies

For the first time this year — the 60th anniversary of the Association’s founding — and by decision of the General Council, the OICE Rankings have also been published, based on 2024 turnover data provided by OICE members and broken down by engineering, architecture, and project management activities.
