The new Ferragamo Logistic hub is a unique building that, thanks to a very high automation level of the processes, holds the whole goods logistic. The four-storey building has ten loading bays, 1.000 square meters for offices, flexibly and efficiently arranged based on a see-trough layout, manufacturing areas divided in sectors, warehouse, services for personnel and photovoltaic installation on the roof top.
The project and construction process focused on LEED principles in order to get Platinum certification.
Beside the new building, a green area has been created and it acts as a focal point for the project and as recreation area for workers. Preserving existing executive offices and manufacturing areas in the strict neighborhood during the whole construction phase was one of the main target for site management. Accurate and discerning solution planned in every single phase succeed in facilitate integration of the new building with existing ones.
