Corporate Social Responsibility

GPA Partners has obtained the SA8000 Ethical Certification which finds its raison d’être in the acronym Social Accountability 8000. SA 8000 responds to the needs of organizations that want to stand out for their commitment to sustainable development, with particular attention to social issues, based on the principles suggested by international references in the field of human and labor rights.
 In particular, the chapters developed in the standard are:

  • forced and child labour;
  • the health and safety of workers;
  • freedom of association and collective bargaining;
  • working hours;
  • management systems;
  • remuneration and remuneration;
  • disciplinary practices;
  • discrimination.

Other principles:

  • involvement of stakeholders (internal and external stakeholders);
  • all staff are involved, including management;
  • all sectors and sites of the company are involved;
  • prioritises prevention over control;
  • aimed at continuous improvement.To obtain certification, the Company must implement a Social Responsibility Management System, an instrument through which the organization can plan, manage, review and improve the categories of services defined within the standard.

For GPA it has always been essential to create an environment in which every single person feels valued in his identity, in which there are equal opportunities, respect, trust and no form of discrimination occurs!
