Ex Hotel de Londres, Naples (NA)
For us, the material and immaterial historical protection of buildings has always been important and for this reason today we want to talk to you about a new victory obtained in collaboration with SPIBS Studio Progetto Progetto Integrali, Studio Perillo S.r.l., Dr. Maria Grazia Lizzio, the Arch . Chiara Pezzano and the Restorer Giulio Raspini: the Final, Executive and Safety Coordination design in the design phase, to be drawn up in BIM mode, relating to the seismic improvement works, energy efficiency and functional redevelopment of “Palazzo Pierce – former Hotel de Londres” , in Naples in Piazza Municipio.
The “Grand Hotel de Londres” was designed by the architect Giovan Battista Comencini and built between 1895 and 1899.
The palace is considered the first important example of art nouveau which will have a glorious trend in Naples, inaugurating the current of “Neapolitan Liberty“: the neo-Renaissance façade is very sober and the use of metal structures is striking, truly innovative in era.
