Milanto’s tour of the ancient world in collaboration with GPA

Milanto, the sailboat with which Valerio Bardi and Lorenzo Cipriani made a tour of the world at the time of the pandemic, is ready to set sail for another adventure: the second edition of the Art Odyssey project, the tour of the ancient world on a sailing boat to discover the archetypes of our civilization.

The Microplasmed scientific research project will also be carried forward for this edition in collaboration with the Department of Biology of the University of Florence to collect information throughout the Mediterranean Sea on marine microorganisms that break down microplastics. For this edition of Art Odyssey 2023 Milanto has entered into a partnership with GPA Partners. Innovation And Quality, this is the slogan of GPA which designs and manufactures products sustainable and in line with the most recent parameters of respect for the environment.

This is the point of contact with Milanto, a sailing boat that sails the seas of the whole world driven by the force of the wind. GPA provided assistance to make Milanto increasingly green in on-board equipment and energy management. The sailboat is a symbol of sustainability, there is no more ecological vehicle: Milanto has covered almost 40,000 miles of its round-the-world trip in 2020-21 and around 4,000 during the first Art Odyssey 2022 across the Mediterranean.
